Cardo PackTalk headsets

These completely change the riding experience!

We rode for years without these headsets, frequently stopping to communicate. Even the simplest question or observation often meant slowing or stopping entirely so we could hear each other. Or we would misunderstand the hand signals!

Now we ride while wearing these Cardo headsets with integrated voice radios. Handsfree and voice activated, conversations between riders can be natural and happen at any time. Even at cruise speeds I can be heard and hear the replies. Noise canceling microphones and electronics minimize static and  background sounds. 

We can typically converse with up to a kilometer of distance between us.

Originally designed for motorcycle riding groups, these Cardo DMC mesh radios can handle groups with many riders. We have used them with maybe a dozen people on the water and they worked great. With a passenger and both are wearing headsets we can talk comfortably. No need for shouting over wind noise and engine sounds. 

While maneuvering and loading at the launch ramp I can easily talk with someone out on the water. Instructions, change of plans, questions, are easily handled when we can just talk with each other!

The radio modules are rainproof and they have worked well, even in windy conditions with water spray. Once or twice they have dropped into the water for a moment and after quickly scooping it out, no problems afterwards.
